Athletes are not invisible. They go through painful moments just like anyone else. Whenever people lose their loved ones, they suffer incorrigible discomfort that cannot be cured by anything. The only way that the ache can go away is if they mourn. Not everyone can mourn more so athletes. They like putting a strong facade all at the expense of their emotional well being. Losing someone is not a joke or even a small thing. It has a way of eating up someone from the inside. The person will start being less productive and it is very noticeable in athletes. That is why there is a need of sport psychology that is meant for such a case. Sports psychologists help athletes in the mourning process. There are some athletes who do not decline in their performance but instead become better at what they do. They shut down every entry of pain by putting double effort in the work in which they do. The negative side of this is that they will show a lot of anger and this will affect the people nearest to them and that will end up affecting them too.
